Terry Petersen began nannying for our family last fall and since then has been nothing short of a blessing and inspiration to me as a mom. She is the living testament to how far a mother will go to take care of her child.
My children are my everything, they are perfect in my eyes. I can not imagine living through years of doctors telling you that your child is not perfect. That they have physical imperfections that may take them from your life forever. Yet, Terry has an outlook that is nothing but positive. She feels that every day with her daughter is a blessing and has faith that God will take care of her family.
With three daughters of my own, their story has touched my heart. Please help in any way you can. I want Terry to be by her daughters side - without the worry of bills, work, etc... - as long as she possibly can. If it were one of my children, or yours, I hope someone would help us the same.
Unfortunately, I don't think that I will be able to attend the benefit, but I will definitely be thinking about and praying for you guys!
